The VPK classroom at Kids World is designed to help your child make significant development gains. Your child's communication skills will start improving, as our Certified Teachers prepare your child for kindergarten and beyond. At Kids World we use "Teaching Strategies" by Creative Curriculum. The curriculum is fun and age appropriate, encouraging children to develop reasoning and thinking skills that will be needed throughout their lives. Children work both in groups and independently teaching social skills and independence as well. Our teachers provide a challenging weekly themed based lesson designed to keep the interest and needs of your 4 and 5 year olds.
Our preschool and daycare programs are thoughtfully designed to help every child discover the joy of learning through exploration, creativity, and skill-building. Our childcare curriculum focuses on reinforcing essential early education concepts that prepare children for school success. Children strengthen their reading skills, practice writing letters and words, and engage in fun activities that expand creativity and boost confidence. We also focus on developing strong math skills through playful problem-solving and hands-on activities that make learning enjoyable. Our preschool provides a wide range of experiences to inspire curiosity and imagination. Children participate in block and woodworking projects that build coordination and planning skills, while the dramatic play and home life area encourages imagination and social interaction. The Music Center fills the classroom with rhythm & joy, and the Art Studio allows children to express their creativity through painting and crafts. In the Discovery Area, young learners explore basic Science concepts through observation and experimentation. The Math and Manipulative Center promotes counting, sorting and pattern recognition, while the reading and writing corner fosters early literacy and communication skills. Finally the water and sand area offers a fun sensory experience that enhances motor development and curiosity.
